Shahram Yazdani

Opera Singer

Shahram Yazdani is an Iranian German opera singer, voice teacher and songwriter based in Germany. In 1999 he began his education in music theory under the guidance of Morteza Del Shab. From 2003-2007 he studied with Franco Tenelli, to learn the Italian Appoggio technique. In 2010 he received his master’s degree in music and began his professional life, teaching and performing in Iran. As a teacher in music schools in Tehran and Alborz, he gave numerous vocal seminars and workshops throughout Iran, and was guest professor at the Alborz University of Arts 2015-2016. At the same time he performed concerts throughout the country, in the prestigious Rudaki and Vahdat halls, singing Rigoletto and Tosca and solos with the Aiso Orchestra conducted by Christian Schultz. In 2016 he moved to Italy, at the invitation of the head of the Franz Liszt International Society in Grottammare, where he was part of the jury for their young musicians competition. A year later he moved to Germany, where he is now a permanent resident and where he has had the opportunity to study with Chris Merritt, Martin Muehle, Jack Li Vigni and Montserrat Caballe …
